It’s the perfect way to experience our classes, meet the coaches, and see how great you’ll feel training at Toronto Boxing Academy. Whether your goal is fitness, learning boxing, or just trying something new, this is your chance to get started and see if we’re the right fit for you.

Open Gym

Open Gym is designed for members who want the flexibility to train on their own schedule while still being part of the Toronto Boxing Academy environment. Use the time to practice boxing fundamentals, work on drills, hit the heavy bags, or complete your own strength and conditioning session. It’s an ideal option for reinforcing skills learned in class and building confidence through independent training.

Open Gym Rules & Expectations

To keep Open Gym safe, productive, and enjoyable for everyone, we ask members to follow a few simple guidelines:

  • Respect the Space and Equipment: Return all equipment to its proper place and help keep the gym clean and organized.
  • Train With AwarenessBe mindful of others training around you and share equipment when needed.
  • Use Proper TechniqueOpen Gym is for practicing skills and conditioning — if you’re unsure about something, ask a coach for guidance.
  • No Unsupervised SparringSparring is only permitted during scheduled sessions with coaching supervision.
  • Come Prepared to Train Independently: Open Gym is a self-guided training time, so plan your session or use it to reinforce what you’ve learned in class.
  • Respect the Community:Encourage others, follow gym etiquette, and help maintain the positive TBA environment.
