School Boxing Programs in Toronto
Give Students a Different Way to Get Active, Build Confidence and Learn New Skills
Toronto Boxing Academy offers structured, beginner-friendly boxing programs for schools, classes and youth groups looking for an engaging physical activity outside the traditional gym class.
Our school boxing programs introduce students to the fundamentals of boxing through fitness, movement, coordination and skill development in a safe and supportive environment.
No boxing experience is required.
More Than Just a Workout
Boxing gives students an opportunity to challenge themselves physically while developing skills that carry over beyond the gym.
Our school programs can help students work on:
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Coordination and balance
- Focus and concentration
- Confidence
- Discipline
- Agility and footwork
- Teamwork
- Learning a new physical skill
Students are encouraged to work at their own ability level while our coaches introduce boxing in a positive and approachable way.
What Does a School Boxing Session Look Like?
Programs can be adjusted based on the age, experience and goals of your group.
A typical session may include:
Boxing Fundamentals
Students learn basic boxing stance, movement, punches and defensive skills.
Boxing Fitness
Students experience boxing-based conditioning using drills designed to keep them moving and engaged.
Heavy Bag Training
Students can practice the skills they've learned while getting a great workout.
Partner Drills
Controlled partner exercises can help develop coordination, reaction time, teamwork and communication.
Boxing Challenges
Fun individual and group challenges can be incorporated to keep students involved and working together.
Our emphasis is on learning boxing skills, getting active and having a positive experience, not fighting or sparring.
Beginner-Friendly and Non-Contact
You don't need to know how to box to participate.
In fact, most students we introduce to boxing have never stepped inside a boxing gym before.
Our coaches teach the fundamentals progressively so students can develop confidence as they learn.
School programs can be delivered without sparring or student-to-student contact.
Programs Built Around Your Group
Every school is different.
We can work with teachers and school staff to create a program based on:
- Student age
- Group size
- Available time
- Fitness level
- Program goals
- Single-session experiences or ongoing programming
Whether you're looking for a unique physical education experience, an extracurricular activity or an introduction to boxing, we'll help determine an appropriate format.
